As BJP National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda launched the ‘Seva Pakhwada’ on the occasion of the birthday of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on 17 September, 2024, BJP Karyakartas across the nation rededicated themselves in the service of the people. BJP has emerged as the only political party in India which believes in ‘seva karya’ with its millions of karyakartas committing to serve the people throughout the country. The remarkable ‘seva karya’ by BJP karyakartas during the Covid-19 pandemic is a glowing example of the spirit of service even in the most adverse circumstances. Every year BJP observes ‘Seva Pakhwada’ starting from the birthday of nation’s beloved leader Shri Narendra Modi to Gandhi Jayanti, organizing various ‘Seva Karya’ including blood donation drives, cleanliness campaigns, tree plantations, service programs in bastis and various service projects across the country. While the life of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi inspires every karyakarta to tirelessly serve the nation by serving the poor, deprived, oppressed and exploited, the ‘Seva Pakhwada’ has become an occasion to reinforce the spirit of service among the people.
The completion of 100 days by the NDA government at the centre under the charismatic and dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is marked by remarkable achievements and unparalleled accomplishments. In the first hundred days of Modi:3.0 government, not only projects of around 15 lakh crores have been approved but many infrastructural development projects have been announced which will pave the path of ‘Viksit Bharat’ in the days to come. The focus on roads, railways, ports and airways can be seen from the approval/construction of 62,500 kms of roads and bridges to connect 25,000 unconnected villages, approval of strengthening India’s road network and approval of eight National High Speed Road Corridor Projects spanning 936 kms. Approval for eight new railway line projects, new airports and expansion of Metro in Bengaluru and Pune with Thane Integral Ring Road project shows the commitment of the Prime Minister to develop world class infrastructure in India.
As the 17th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi was released and Rs. 20,000 crore was transferred to the accounts of around 9.3 crore farmers across the country, Rs. 3 lac crore have been disbursed to the accounts of farmers so far. The MSP for kharif announced is supposed to benefit 12 crore farmer family amounting to Rs. 2 lac crore. In addition to many new initiatives for the farmers, huge reliefs were given to the middle class by giving tax reliefs, exemption limit for family pension, comprehensive review of the income tax rules and declaration of Unified Pension Scheme – a gift to the government employees. The approval to construct 3 crore pucca houses, PM Surya Ghar scheme for 2.5 lac homes between June and August 2024, environment friendly E-buses and focus on Ease of Doing Business along with initiatives to empower youth and women shows the commitment of Modi government in every sphere. Whether it is for the empowerment of OBCs, Dalits, Minorities, Scheduled Tribes or accessibility of Healthcare, Science and Technology, Governance and law & Order, Energy Security, Foreign Policy and Disaster management, many remarkable initiatives have been taken which will go a long way in realizing the dreams of ‘Viksit Bharat’ in the days to come.
While elections are taking place in Jammu & Kashmir and Haryana, the polling percentage in the first phase of elections in Jammu & Kashmir is the victory of democracy and befitting reply of the people to terrorism in the valley. It is a victory of the people of Jammu & Kashmir who have come forward to strengthen democracy and defeat terrorism in the state. It’s the victory of the idea of peace, prosperity and progress.
